I will be adding a new page onto my website soon, one where you can purchase the Bamboo-fusion sets online. The table set, which is the kind you can heat, will be available with the DVD as a set. I will also add the Visage (facial) set combo with DVD.

forgiveness
Harboring resentment towards someone who has treated you badly creates stress. It's commonly known that stress can cause many mental and physical illnesses. Is forgiveness the key to letting go of that anger, resentment or hatred?
"...and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."
What is the key to forgiveness? Is it to ignore the person who's done you wrong, or ignore the act(s)? Is it to fight back? Take a deep breath (inhale the good, exhale the bad)? Sometimes forgiveness is an extraordinarily difficult feat, especially when another is hell bent on making your life difficult.
My thoughts...well, I can see why people pay to speak with a psychologist or therapist! We as massage therapists sometimes act in that capacity. Hopefully, time really does heal all wounds.

Letter to AMTA Northern Kentucky members
Dear AMTA-NKY UNIT Member,
Monday, April 6th is our next AMTA-NKY unit meeting at Gateway Community and Technical College. Our guest speaker will be Mary-Claire Fredette from Affinity Massage Studio. Mary-Claire will give us a presentation and demonstration of Bamboo-fusion Massage. Those who have attended the state conferences in the past will recognize Mary-Claire Fredette as she has been the exhibitor and demonstrator of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy.
Meeting time is at 6:30PM with a short business meeting followed by the Bamboo-fusion presentation at 7:00PM. GCTC is located on Thomas More Parkway across from St. Elizabeth Hospital South. The Bamboo-Fusion program will be held in the massage classroom located on the second floor where we can also experience a little full body as well as Bamboo-fusion chair massage.Park in the lower or south parking lot and enter GCTC using the south side entrance. Stairs to the second floor are directly inside this door.
Bamboo-fusion is an exotic new modality that is extremely relaxing and therapeutic. It was created out of a need for the practitioner/founder to be able to do deeper tissue work without experiencing fatigue and pain. The modality offers something for everyone.
The ability of your Unit to continue offering quality programs is dependent on the attendance and support of you, the local AMTA member. Recognizing that on Monday you may have just completed a workday and have to delay dinner to attend the unit meeting, we are offering the following incentives. Besides an already interesting guest speaker and topic, there will be refreshments and a drawing for a door prize of a Bamboo-fusion Chair Massage DVD.
