Ashi-Thai classes

As an authorized instructor for Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, I now also have permission to teach Ashi-Thai. Ashi-Thai is similar to traditional Thai massage in that the client remains fully clothed, and the therapist uses no oil or cream.

However, what's not typical of this type of barefoot massage is that the therapist also stands on the massage table (you'll find this in some modalities, but it's newer than traditional Thai) and uses overhead bars for balance and support. The massage therapist uses primarily leg strength to move the client into various positions. Ideally, she or he will also avoid bending at the waist, thereby preventing repetitive movement injuries on the back.

www.affinitymassages.com/register_now1 has the registration page!
